This project was used as a case study to develop a flexible user centred framework to support the development of a mobile, tablet, and smartTV apps using Rightster content and platform services.
First we run an ideation workshop to identify opportunities and barriers for the white label app. Concepts for mobile, tablet and smartTV were generated based on identified users and business requirements. After different iterations, detailed wireframes were produced to specify the experience. A prototype of the final concept was created to further document the interactions and experience in general. Designs were then adapted for different device groups and platforms by applying the group underlying interaction principles. The prototype of the final design was tested with a small group of users to evaluate its usability. On the overall, feedback was extremely positive and findings were used to further refine the designs. We worked closely with the development team and our client throughout the process to gather prompt feedback.
In the second part of the project, we defined a design framework leveraging on the learnings from the AFL case study. These were documented in detail and shared across the business.
User experience project lead, service concept design, interaction design, and creation of documentation.
A flexible user experience framework, which offers:
- Consumers, to engage with their favourite content from their preferred device.
- Businesses, a flexible, comprehensive, platform independent, white label app that meets their business goals and maximises their content reach and consumption.
- Developers, all the resource they would need to quickly build and iterate apps using the Rightster content and platform services.
